Christmas Caddy Is Returning to Branford

Once again, toys will be collected at sites including Branford Walmart (shown here) during the Eighth Annual Christmas Caddy to benefit children of families supported by Branford Counseling Center.Photo courtesy Angelo, Pantani and Fowler families.

The eighth annual Christmas Caddy gift drive for the Branford Counseling Center (BCC) will be at Branford Walmart over Thanksgiving weekend (Friday, Nov. 23, Saturday, Nov. 24 and Sunday, Nov. 25) from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.; and on the Branford Green on Saturday, December 8 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The caddy is there to collect donated toys, gift cards and gifts which will be delivered to BCC, to be given to Branford families with children and teens in time for Christmas. This year's collection effort is being overseen by Branford High School senior Rachel Labonte.

The collection is made each year in Branford in honor of the late Bruce Pantani; and was established in his honor by the Angelo, Pantani and Fowler families. The Christmas Caddy is Pantani's 1965 cherry red Cadillac de Ville.
