11/05/2018 11:00 PMDemocrat Christine Cohen defeated Republican Adam Greenberg to win the District 12 State Senate seat on Election Day, Nov. 6. Voters turned out in droves despite poor weather and ultimately voted to keep the State Senate seat, serving Madison, Guilford, Branford, North Branford, Killingworth, and Durham, blue.
Cohen said Greenberg called to concede shortly before 10 p.m. and thanked voters for coming out and supporting her.
“I am beyond thrilled with the result and excited to serve the people of the 12th District and work together toward making Connecticut a wonderful place to live,” she said.
