Branford Hit & Run: Police Release Truck Photo, License Plate; Seek Public's Assistance in Locating Vehicle, Driver

November 5, 2018: The Branford Police Department, in conjunction with the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit (SCCTU) continues to investigate a hit-and-run accident that occurred on November 4, 2018 at approximately 8:20 a.m., at the intersection of East Main Street (Route 1) and Featherbed Lane.

A 52-year-old Branford women was riding her bicycle on East Main Street and was struck by a white Ford F-Series pick-up truck. The bicyclist is currently in serious but stable condition at a local hospital.

Police are asking the public for help in an attempt to locate a 2013 white Ford F250 Pick-Up, bearing license plate CT 8334C2. The pickup truck has damage to the passenger side headlight assembly area.
