Gentle Jaggar is a Gem

Jaggar, whose name is spelled in a unique way, may have a slightly rough and tumble appearance, but underneath beats the heart of a teddy bear. He loves to be picked up and held, is a gentle, sweet, cuddly boy, and enjoys the company of other cats, including his two brothers at the shelter.

Jaggar, like all his friends at Forgotten Felines, does not understand why black cats are the last to be adopted in the United States. In the United Kingdom, it is considered good luck to adopt a black cat! To collect some good luck or to adopt gentle Jaggar or any other cat or kitten, call the Forgotten Felines adoption line at 860-669-1347 or apply online at www.forgottenfelinesct.org.

Find Your Match at Forgotten Felines: Forgotten Felines holds open adoption events every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 153 Horse Hill Road, Westbrook. For more information, call the adoption line at 860-669-1347.

Forgotten Felines is seeking volunteers who can spare just two hours a week to make a difference in the lives of its shelter cats. Volunteers make sure the kitties are well loved, fed, and cared for, and that the shelter is clean and cozy. To join the Forgotten Felines team, call the volunteer line at the number shown above.
