Tickets give Oktoberfest participants access to the Lions' "private beer garden" in the brewery's second-floor Celebration Room; offering beer and wine, an extensive buffet of authentic German food, and accordion music by Lion Dave Goclowski. Oktoberfest guests are also invited to enjoy the brewery's outside grounds, games (giant Jenga, cornhole, bocce) and riverside seating among picnic tables and Adirondack chairs.
The Branford Lions Club's annual Oktoberfest is also the club's nod to Branford's popular annual Beer Festivals of the past, which drew crowds out to celebrate in a field on the east end of town over 40 years ago.
Proceeds from the fourth annual Branford Lions Club Oktoberfest will help continue the non-profit club's efforts to support Branford community charitable services, including Branford Clothing Bank, Feed Branford Kids, Community Dining Room, Branford Food Pantry; and other Lions Club charity projects. Branford Lions Club was established in 1951.
