09/19/2018 08:45 AMThe Independent Party of Connecticut endorsed Republican Bob Siegrist’s candidacy for state representative in the 36th House District on Sept. 4.
With the endorsement at a party convention in Mystic, the name Bob Siegrist, a Haddam resident, will appear on both the Republican and Independent ballot lines on Election Day Nov. 6.
Siegrist thanked the delegates after their endorsement.
“I appreciate the recognition of my independent-minded approach and my continuing fight for common sense policies aimed at building a more affordable future for the residents of the 36th” District, Siegrist said. “I would be honored to receive the support of third party voters across my district.
“It has been my honor to work for you as your representative and I will continue to fight fiscal mismanagement and hold government accountable, because you deserve a better government,” Siegrist concluded. “We all deserve a better Connecticut.”
