09/17/2018 02:58 PMBranford road milling and paving work that was set to begin the week of September 7 will instead get underway beginning Wednesday, Sept. 19, weather permitting, according to information released by Branford Department of Public Works.
The road improvement and resurfacing project work includes preparation and milling (removal of asphalt layer) followed by paving. Traffic may experience minor delays and detours during construction. The Public Works Department is also requesting that residents on roads listed as part of the project do not park on the street during daylight hours.
The following roads are scheduled to be resurfaced: Featherbed Lane, White Birch Lane, Victoria Drive, Redwood Road, Joseph Way, Dogwood Court and Damascus Road.
