The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, Inc. (The Kate) announces Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation’s support of the Missoula’s Children’s Theatre Series. This donation enables The Kate to continue to host two residencies per year with this professional children’s theater group, which casts local children in productions without a fee for participation. The residencies seek to teach key life skills and emphasize building confidence and minimizing effects of inequalities or disabilities in communities without significant arts resources. Approximately 64 children attend each week long session at The Kate.

“We appreciate the ability to partner with Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation in this fun and important work, bringing accessible and affordable children’s theatre to families in our area,” said Brett Elliott, executive director of The Kate. “Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation has been a vital supporter of the Kate since our opening and we couldn’t do it without them and organizations like them that invest generously in the arts in our region.”
