09/06/2018 12:51 PMOn Sunday, September 16, the first-ever Concorso Camp Rising Sun Car Show will bring cool cars, vintage vehicles and tough trucks to Branford's Foote Park, for a family event that will help support Camp Rising Sun.
The show runs from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Foote Park on Melrose Avenue and also offers live entertainment, food trucks (including a pizza truck and ice cream truck) and games for kids and adults. Entry for guests is free.
The show is currently gathering all makes and models of vehicles to join the display, from the stylish Italian autos favored by members of CT-based Concorso & Friends auto club to "...any car or truck," said Melissa Pandolfi, Camp Rising Sun Outreach Coordinator.
"It's our first year and we're inviting people with any make or model. We have a mom, her daughter goes to camp, and they just got a big Chevy truck, so she's going to have it in the show. We're really welcoming any cars of interest; antique cars, too," said Pandolfi.
Each vehicle can enter the show by submitting a $20 entry fee at http://www.camprisingsun.com/concorso

One hundred percent of all proceeds will benefit Camp Rising Sun.
