Bikers Against Animal Cruelty (BAAC) hosts its 11th annual Motorcycle Rally and Pet Adoption event at the North Haven Fair Grounds on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 1 to 6 p.m. Admission ($20, children under age 6 enter free) provides guests with food, beverages, and live music all afternoon. In addition to the pet adoption opportunities, a raffle, and the motorcycle rally, numerous vendor booths will be open with items of interest to pet keepers. North Haven Rescue K9-11 has partnered with BAAC to ensure more adoptable pets will be on-hand. iHeart Media’s Renee Dinino will again emcee.

BAAC is a non profit 501c3 organization composed solely of volunteers who raise money to offset the veterinary bills for animals who have been abused, neglected, and surrendered so they may be rehomed to a loving family. BAAC supports the Branford Compassion Club, All the King’s Horses Equestrian Rescue, the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, and many others in the state. It also delivers food, bedding, and cleaning supplies to shelters statewide and conducts educational outreach at events.
