Meet Nora

Nora is a friendly, two-year-old tortoiseshell cat available for adoption at Valley Shore Animal Welfare League (VSAWL). She was found as a pregnant stray in Norwich. A man found her right before she gave birth and took care of her until the VSAWL shelter manager was able to get her and her kittens. Nora loves attention and does well with people of all ages. She would do best in a home where she is the only cat as she tends to hiss at VSAWL’s other feline residents. She has not yet been dog tested. Nora is spayed, up to date on shots, and uses the litter box. If interested in Nora, call VSAWL at 860-399-7561 for more information.

VSAWL currently has space available for adoptable dogs and cats that need to be relinquished. If you or someone you know needs to rehome their cat or dog, call the manager at 860-399-7561 for more information.

VSAWL is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter located in Westbrook, open five days a week: Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Calling ahead is recommended for availability. All animals live on site and can be viewed for consideration for adoption. To see who else is waiting for a home at the shelter, visit www.valleyshoreanimalwelfareleague.org and www.facebook.com/VSAWL as well as www.petfinder.com.
