DHHS Student Donates Chain Basketball Nets to Academy School

Brittany Bakula, a Daniel Hand High School (DHHS) junior, recently hung up the chain basketball nets she donated to the Academy Basketball Court project. Brittany volunteered her time with many other volunteers from the group Academy: Save the Heart of Madison. Additional projects included painting more plywood, railings, and doors on the west side of the school building brown. The basketball court area was blown clean then painted with vibrant colors. The Old Saybrook Sherwin-Williams Paint Store staff supplied the court paint and Tom Hinding of Hinding Tennis Courts supplied the white line paint.
