06/04/2018 04:03 PMThe summer of 2018 marks the 17th year of the North Branford Summer Camp program. This summer's theme is "The Wonderful World of Summer Camp!" Camp will run from June 18 through August 1.
Several new camps have been added as North Branford Public Schools (NBPS) continues to offer popular camps all designed to entertain, enrich and inspire summer campers. In order to fit with this year's global theme, the program is introducing camps such as "Sports Around the World," "A Taste of the World," and "World Explorers." Other additions have been made to camps to appeal to more diverse interests such as Innovation Exploration, Dance/Cheer Camp, Scribble to Script, Crazy Art Camp and Wellness Camp. Returning camper favorites are still available, such as Wet and Wild, Fizz, Bubble Goo, Candy Camp and Laser Tag and more. All enrichment programs are listed online at the link below.
Kim Towle and Nick Shamp are excited to start their new positions as the co-Directors of North Branford Summer camp program. Both are teachers at North Branford High School who have been employed by the summer camp for many years. They are thrilled to lead campers through "The Wonderful World of Summer Camp!"
The North Branford Summer Camp Program employs many certified teachers as enrichment camp instructors. The staff also includes many returning camp counselors who are always excited to be a part of each camper's summer experience and memories. The staff is also comprised of many students, graduates and former campers. The goal of the North Branford Summer Camp Program and staff is to help campers develop life-long friendships and a passion for learning.
