06/01/2018 12:00 AMState Representative Bob Siegrist, III (R-36) received the unanimous endorsement at the 36th District Republican convention held recently in Chester.
Siegrist thanked the delegates after securing the nomination to serve another term.
“I am proud to serve the residents of the 36th House District these past two years as their state representative,” he said. “There is a lot more work that needs to be done for the residents in our beautiful Connecticut River Valley.”
Siegrist concluded his remarks, “I’ve always considered this seat the people’s seat and with your support on Nov. 6 I will be honored to continue my dedicated service to the district.”
Siegrist has represented the towns of Chester, Deep River, Essex. and Haddam since 2017. He currently serves on the Public Safety and Security, Insurance and Real Estate, and Veterans’ Affairs committees.
