North Branford Public Works on Board with Food Collection Drive

North Branford Public Works is getting on board with a nation-wide food collection drive to benefit local food banks during National Public Works Week. To kick off the week, a Touch-a-Truck will be held Sun. May 20 with the goal of attendees bringing enough donated non-perishable food to fill a Public Works truck.

The Touch-a-Truck event takes place Sun. May 20, 11:30 - 2 p.m. at the Stanley T. Williams Community Center, 1332 Middletown Avenue, according to information posted on Food Pantry of North Branford's Facebook page.

In addition, from Monday, May 21 through Friday, May 25, residents can drop off non-perishable food donations anytime between 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. at North Branford's Public Works facility, 290 Forest Road.
