Volunteer Opportunities at the Madison Visitor Center

Those who love Madison, enjoy meeting new people, and have a few hours to spare this summer may want to consider volunteering at the Madison Visitors Center. Located at 12 School Street in the Powder House next to Memorial Hall on the Town Green, the Madison Visitor Center, which also serves as the Chamber of Commerce office during the week, will be open from late May to mid-October on weekends, too.

Shifts are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. Volunteers may choose any shift or day that is best for them, and may help once a season or every week.

Those interested should attend a brief informational meeting on Monday, May 7 at 3 p.m. at the Visitor Center. For more information, call Betty White at 203-245-7795 or Eileen Banisch at 203-245-7394.
