04/12/2018 12:01 AMCongratulations go to the Tie Dye Team for winning the eighth annual Puzzle-Off at the Edward Smith Library. This is the third win for this team (it also won in 2015 and 2016). The team completed the jigsaw puzzle in one hour and 44 minutes.
Competition was ramped up quite a bit this year as new faces joined the event. There were 84 contestants spread out over 14 teams working on an identical 1,000-piece puzzle. This year featured a “Neon signs” puzzle that had a challenging border, according to the teams.
Tie Dye Team members included Peter Bickford, Andrew Bickford, Reuben Atilho, Kirsten Knecht, Leann Bickford, Kelsie Walker, Karen Doukas, and Connie Bickford.
