Academic and Extracurricular Achievements
• Kevin O’Brien, a student majoring in computer science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, recently completed a research project titled “Curriculum Development for Water Chemistry Analysis” in Washingon D.C.
• Ashley Margaret Ignatowski joined the Class of 2020 and the Women’s water polo team, at Connecticut College.
• Michaela Feinburg, a student majoring in history at Muhlenberg College, collaborated on a variety of research projects in summer 2017.
Professional Achievements
• Lara Herscovitch won the 2018 Family Folk Chorale Songwriting Competition with her song, “Wingspan.”
• Susan Baserga, a professor of molecular biophysics and biochemistry at Yale University, was a finalist in the Connecticut Technology Council’s Women of Innovation Awards that honor women exhibiting excellence in STEM fields.
