With the start of 2018, Grace Episcopal Church introduces a new Rector, the Rev. Charlie Hamill, to the community. Hamill recently moved into the church rectory on Main Street with his pregnant wife Bethany (their baby is due this week).

Hamill recently served as the assistant rector of Christ Episcopal Church (in the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh) and priest-in-charge at All Saints Episcopal Church in Brighton Heights, a neighborhood of the city of Pittsburgh. He has been involved in various ministries at both church, including youth ministry, young couples’ groups, Men’s Bible Study, Eucharistic Ministry, and more.

His master’s in divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary was awarded in June 2012 and in December 2012, he was ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church. Hamill previously earned an undergraduate degree in fisheries and wildlife biology at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
