Learn About Maple Sugaring with the Essex Land Trust

The Essex Land Trust is hosting a Maple Sugaring Open House on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bushy Hill Nature Center, 253 Bushy Hill Road, Ivoryton. The staff at Bushy Hill will be running the Sugar Shack. Participants can discover the maple sugaring process from tree to shack to table. Guests will also be able to purchase some maple syrup. Bushy Hill Nature Center will hold Sugar Shack open houses on Saturdays, Feb. 17 and March 3 and 10. All ages are welcome.
