Heartwarming Effort: 154 Coats Collected by NBIS Interact Club

During the month of January, the North Branford Intermediate School (NBIS) Interact Club held a Coat Drive in school to collect donations for BHcare Clothing Bank. The project culminated with a Community Coat Drive held on Sunday, January 21, during which many residents dropped off items.

A grand total of 154 coats and several bags of hats, gloves, scarves and personal care items were collected. The donations will be used to help those in need in the local area.The NBIS Interact Club would like to thank everyone who helped make this project a success.

NBIS Interact Club's coordinator is Mrs. Carrie Sabetta.

BHcare Clothing Bank provides adult and children's clothing for clients from several towns along the shoreline and operates out of the Patricia C. Andriole Volunteer Services Center (30 Harrison Avenue, Branford)

NBIS Interact is sponsored by North Branford Rotary Club as part of  Rotarty International's Interact youth leadership and community service program.
