Meet Heffey

Heffey is a 7 year-old male tuxedo cat. He came to Valley Shore Animal Welfare League (VSAWL) because his original owner became sick and passed away. A person who helped take care of the original owner took Heffey into her own home, but the current cats did not welcome him. He has been very calm during his time at the shelter and can be quite vocal. Heffey does well with all people, and can be good by himself or with other cats who are also calm. Heffey is up to date on his vaccines, flea prevention, and is neutered. If interested in Heffey, call VSAWL at 860-399-7561 for more information.

VSAWL currently has space available for adoptable dogs and cats that need to be relinquished. If you or someone you know needs to rehome their cat or dog, call manager Christy Moore at 860-399-7561 for more information.

VSAWL is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter located in Westbrook, open five days a week (Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Calling ahead is recommended for availability. All animals live on site and can be viewed for consideration for adoption.

To see who else is waiting for a home at the shelter, visit www.valleyshoreanimalwelfareleague.org and www.facebook.com/VSAWL as well as www.petfinder.com.
