Leadership Changes Announced at East Haven Council Meeting

At a Special Meeting of the East Haven Town Council on Dec. 5, the council elected its chairman and vice-chairman. The new chairman is Ken McKay, and the vice-chairman is Linda Hennessey.

Also at the meeting, Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr., announced a replacement for Frank Gentilesco, Jr., in the role of assistant director of administration and management. That person is Joe Coppola, who was the former town attorney for Derby. His first day on the job was Nov. 27.
