North Haven Historical Society Offers a New View of History

The North Haven Historical Society and Museums presented a holiday open house on Dec. 3 at the Rising Sun Tavern. The tavern was decorated for the holidays, with different rooms representing the various centuries of the home’s existence. Here, friends and reenactors Henry Bessonett of the Fifth Connecticut Regiment and Bill Duncan, who is wearing a British Marine uniform, talk with John Monroe outside the tavern.
