RWA Kicks Off Rte 22 Pipeline Restoration in North Branford

NORTH BRANFORD, CONNECTICUT, November 16, 2017: The South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority (RWA), a nonprofit corporation, has announced that staging work is beginning on a tunnel and pipeline restoration project in North Branford. Equipment and materials are being moved into the area this week. This work is expected to be completed by next spring and will enhance water system reliability.

Most of the activity visible to the public will take place on Route 22, Forest Road, just north of the Route 80 intersection. While this work is happening, heavy construction vehicles and equipment will be entering and exiting the roadway. Every effort will be made to minimize noise and any other impacts to area residents and motorists.

If area residents have questions about the work, they can call the RWA Customer Care team at 203-562-4020 or email ask.info@rwater.com.
