11/15/2017 11:01 PMOn a dreary Saturday morning in October, North Haven Garden Club member and Youth Chair Cindy Golia, along with club members Sue Dannenhoffer, Bene’ Jablonski, and Lynda O’Donnell, met up with Girl Scout Troop 60160 leaders Andrea Nappe and Marlene Stellato and girl scouts Brooklyn Bonner and Julianna Consiglio to plant bulbs at the North Haven Town Green and entrance to the Town Hall. The group planted an assortment of bulbs including daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips, 295 to be exact. Before any planting was done, everyone weeded the three large beds at the main entrance to the green. The bulbs were placed, holes dug, and the bulbs were buried for the long winter season. More bulbs will be added to a few more areas in the near future.
