Charter Joins Candidates on Clinton 2017 Ballot

Clinton voters will select candidates for 13 municipal offices on Tuesday, Nov. 7, and they’ll also be asked to answer three questions regarding the proposed town charter changes.

Voters have two options for first selectman candidates who will not appear on the ballot. Voters can select a write-in candidate for any seat by filling in the Row E circle for that race and clearly printing the name of the candidate; both First Selectman Bruce Farmer (B) and Vincent Cimino are running write-in campaigns to compete with Democrat Christine Goupil and Republican Kirk Carr.

Profiles of all candidates who’ve chosen to participate are in our Online Voters Guide, along with coverage on the charter proposal, political letters, and more, at Zip06.com/election.

All Clinton voters vote at the Andrews Memorial Town Hall. Polls at are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. For questions concerning registration status and polling place, call the Registrars of Voters at 860-669-6436.
