10/24/2017 05:30 PMJohn Samperi, a member of the Killingworth Conservative Party formed in 2013, is a second-term fire commissioner. He noted in The Source’s online election guide that he plans to focus on lowering taxes and stop frivolous spending.
“I am the only candidate with the courage to make a difference,” stated Samperi, an HVAC contractor, in his online profile at Zip06.com/election. In that same profile, he listed his top three priorities as “Lower taxes, lower taxes, and stop frivolous spending.”
At press time, Samperi had not responded to The Source’s request for an interview.
According to killingworthconservative.org, the goal of the party is to “make our government stop spending our tax dollars on foolish projects.” It also states that the three most important areas to a town are schools, the Fire Department, and the town highway department.
