Little Free Libraries are a global phenomenon. The small, front‐yard book exchanges number 36,000 around the world in 70 countries—from Iceland to Tasmania to Pakistan. Now, a new Little Free Library at 81 Whitfield Street, next to Breakwater Books, will join the movement to share books, bring people together, and create communities of readers.

Breakwater Books, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary, donated this Little Free Library to the community as a thank you for 45 years of support. The library was constructed by members of the Guilford High School shop class in the spring.
