NHMR’S Yolanda Lowe Named to 2017 Women of FIRE

Yolanda Lowe has been named a Woman of FIRE by The Commercial Record. Women of FIRE is an annual award recognizing key female players in the local FIRE (Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate) sectors. Lowe was honored at an awards luncheon at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville on Aug. 23.

Lowe is vice president of the Board of Directors for the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors (NHMR) and has been a Realtor since 2004. She is affiliated with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services in Essex and has been recognized for her sales achievements as a member of the Berkshire Hathaway Honor Circle.

A resident of Ivoryton, Lowe’s community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for Essex Elderly Housing, serving as a member of the Essex River Valley Auxiliary, and chairing fundraisers to benefit the Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut. Lowe is also very active with the Terri Brouder Breast Cancer Foundation and served as chairperson of the NHMR Community Relations Committee.
