East Haven Animal Shelter Participates in Clear the Shelters Campaign

Brandon DeWitt and Ken Montgomery check out a kitten with Lesley Simoni, who has been volunteering for 18 years. The East Haven Animal Shelter joined in with shelters around the state waiving the adoption fees as a part of the annual NBC Connecticut’s Clear the Shelters campaign on Aug. 19.

The East Haven Animal Shelter was a busy place last week, also taking in Danny the dog, who was struck by a car on Frontage Road and brought to the shelter on Aug. 15.
