08/17/2017 12:01 AMThe North Haven Garden Club recently placed a new carved stone in the Kathy Brandt Memorial Garden at Ridge Road School. The new stone is inscribed “Designed and Maintained by the North Haven Garden Club.” Since bringing the memorial garden back to its intended splendor, project chair Bene’ Jablonski, with assistance from Cindy Golia, felt that a stone indicating the North Haven Garden Club’s commitment to maintaining and preserving the garden should be documented in stone to compliment the memorial stone already there. The garden is primarily a perennial garden with just a few annuals added for a pop of color.
