North Haven Dems Reveal Slate; Sturtz Seeking 1st Selectman Seat

At a special meeting on July 18, the North Haven Democratic Town Committee unanimously voted to approve the proposed slate of candidates running for municipal office in the November 2017 election.

Leading the ticket will be Alan Sturtz for first selectman and incumbent Sally J. Buemi for selectman. Kathy Spinato-Grant will run for town clerk/tax collector, and Stephen Gifford will run for treasurer.

The selections for the Board of Education are Amanda Gabriele and Kari Swanson.

The selections for Board of Finance are Michael T. Hallahan and Danielle Morfi.

Norman J. Juniewic was selected for the Board of Assessment Appeals.

Selections for the Planning & Zoning Commission were Theresa Ranciato-Viele, Roderick Williams, and Ed Homa (alternate).

Joseph P. Villano, Lori Mansur (alternate), and Kenneth Quick (alternate) were selected for the Zoning Board of Appeals.

The selection for Fire Commission is Joseph A. Cappucci, and Alden Mead was selected for the Police Commission.
