East Haven Republican Slate Announced; Maturo Retains Top of Ticket


On July 18, the East Haven Republican Town Committee announced its slate for the upcoming election at The Country House on Foxon Road.

Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr., will lead the ticket, seeking his ninth term in the office. Sitting Town Clerk Stacey will also seek re-election for a fifth term after being elected to the position in 2009.

For Town Council, the Republican Town committee nominated:

District 1: Fred Parlato (incumbent), Robert Parente (incumbent), and Ken McKay (incumbent); District 2: Gary Depalma (incumbent), Beverly Gravino, and Al Carocci; District 3: Robert Sand (incumbent), Angelina “Judy” Esposito (incumbent), and William Richardson (incumbent); District 4: Linda Hennessey (incumbent), “Big” Steve Tracey, and Robert Cubellotti; District 5: Richard Anania (incumbent), Sue Archambault (incumbent), and Lori Jaffe.

For Board of Finance, the Republican Town Committee nominated Ralph Vitale (incumbent), Beth Purcell (incumbent), Robert Schumitz (incumbent), and Marlene Asid.

For Board of Education, the Republican Town Committee nominated Tom Hennessey (incumbent), John Finkle (incumbent), Michele Delucia (incumbent), Lisa Geraci-Anastasio (incumbent), Temple Smith, and Samantha Parlato.
