Clinton Summer Concerts Offer a Picnic Box for Two

The 20th annual Guilford Savings Bank Summer Concert Series presented by the Clinton Chamber of Commerce starts off on Thursday, July 6 with the Rock Bottom Band performing at the Vece Gazebo at the Pierson School at 6:30 p.m. This year the Chamber has improved the popular event with a picnic box for two option from one of Clinton’s many restaurants. For two weeks before each concert (cut-off for orders is noon of the Tuesday before), there will be a picnic box offered to pre-purchase through the Chamber office or online. On the day of the concert, the restaurant will have the boxes there ready to pick up and enjoy.

The first concert on July 6 will feature [chow] Food & Beverage Co., which is providing four choices for their picnic boxes:

• Pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and chips and water for $12

• Smoked chicken salad sandwich with coleslaw and chips and water $12

• Smoked salmon sandwich with coleslaw and chips and water $12

• Caesar salad with grilled chicken and water $11
