Meet Moose

Moose is a six month-old male Yorkshire terrier. He was surrendered to Valley Shore Animal Welfare League (VSAWL) because the owner didn’t have much time to give to him. He is a very excitable and loving dog. Moose needs a home where someone is home often to devote the time and energy it takes to raise a puppy. He is good with other small dogs in the home. Moose is up to date on his vaccines, flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, and is neutered. If interested in Moose, call VSAWL at 860-399-7561 for more information.

VSAWL currently has space available for adoptable dogs and cats that need to be relinquished. If you or someone you know needs to rehome their cat or dog, call manager Christy Moore at 860-399-7561 for more information.

VSAWL is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter located in Westbrook, open five days a week (Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Calling ahead is recommended for availability. All animals live on site and can be viewed for consideration for adoption.

To see who else is waiting for a home at the shelter, visit www.valleyshoreanimalwelfareleague.org and www.facebook.com/VSAWL as well as www.petfinder.com.
