Gister and Janecek to Seek Re-election in Chester

The Chester Democratic Town Committee is proud to announce its unanimous support and endorsement of First Selectman Lauren Gister and Selectman Charlene Janecek as its candidates to run for re-election on Nov. 7, 2017.

We congratulate and thank Lauren and Charlene for their leadership, vision, diversity of experience, and commitment to our treasured community. Their dedication to protect and preserve Chester’s unique character while working to control taxes and grow our tax base is the perfect balance of priorities in these challenging times in Connecticut. The Chester Democratic slate of candidates will be presented at the Democratic Caucus scheduled for Tuesday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Chester Town Hall.
