Alumni Perform Music of a Stellar Career

A packed audience and a full stage of alumni celebrated more than 30 years of stellar musical productions and lauded Branford High School's (BHS) Cathyann Roding on June 5, during a retirement celebration performance to launch a lasting scholarship in her honor.

The tribute, organized by BHS alumnus Colin Sheehan, reunited leads of memorable spring musicals and gathered a choir of alumni to sing many of the tunes from performances directed by Roding during her 32 years of leading the BHS Choral Music program. Many colleauges also paid tribute with words of thanks and recognition, including Toni Cartisano, retired BHS teacher, coach and Roding's spring musical co-director of many years.
