Students Clean Up North Haven for Earth Day

In honor of Earth Day, North Haven Middle School 8th grade students threw a town-wide School Clean-Up and Beautification event. The students are a part of the 8th grade Building Character Education Program led by middle school teachers Krista Kaplan and Alicia Crismale, and funded through a grant from the North Haven Education Foundation. Volunteers cleaned up school entry signs and garden beds, removed old flower pots and gifted each school with new ones, planted new perennials and flowers, mulched, and cleaned up leaves, sticks, and debris along school bushes, walkways, fields, and playgrounds.
