'Stay Strong' Message for North Branford Principal

A May 24 "Stay Strong" fundraising Pasta Dinner to support Alan Davis, a school principal battling cancer, brought many community members out to North Branford Intermediate School (NBIS) and premiered a video which closes with a drone view of hundreds of students, wearing purple "Stay Strong" t-shirts, spelling his name with a heart on a school field.

The video features students and staff from the school and across the district sending words of encouragement and the message, "Stay Strong." It was produced by North Branford High School T-Bird News and can be viewed here

A North Branford native, Davis has served North Branford Public Schools (NPBS)　for 40 years as both a math teacher and administrator. He has been on a leave of absence since April 18. In the days since Superintendent of Schools Scott Schoonmaker shared the news with the NBIS community, support for Davis and his family has continued to grow.
