05/25/2017 12:01 AMThe Branford Rotary Club recently honored Sarah Marsland, the daughter of Kate and Michael Marsland, as its April 2017 Student of the Month at Branford High School. Marsland was nominated by her teachers for excellence in math. She is a junior at Branford High School and would like to pursue a career in journalism or teaching. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Leo Club, and School Choir. She was named a Government Scholarship Award Nominee and worked as a camp counselor. She has also danced with the New Haven Ballet.
