05/18/2017 12:01 AMOn April 15, the Westbrook Elks Lodge #1784 held its annual Easter egg hunt. The Easter egg hunt was open to children of lodge members and Westbrook residents. The day started with games and entertainment by Champo the Clown and DJ Stephen Bear in the main ballroom, then the Easter Bunny arrived for pictures with a basket full of decorative eggs that were filled with candy. At noon, the children and the Easter Bunny went out to the back lawn to retrieve the surprises the bunny helpers left there earlier that morning. This year’s Easter egg hunt was the largest ever held at the lodge with 120 children and their parents and grandparents in attendance.
