Chocolate Rush: Branford's Easter Egg Hunt is April 8

BRANFORD -  The Annual Robert Marston Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 8, sponsored by Branford American Legion, Corcoran Sundquist Post #83. The hunt, held outdoors at Branford's Foote Park, begins at 11 a.m.

The program will be free for all Branford boys and girls ages 10 and under.  The hunt will take place at Foote Park on Melrose Avenue for the following age groups: four years old and younger; five and six years old; seven and eight years old; nine and 10 years old and, additionally, Food Allergy Division.

There is no registration for the hunt; but girls and boys should arrive at their destination points at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the hunt.

Branford American Legion Post #83 has been an integral supportive part of the Branford Recreation Department for well over 50 years. By offering and involving themselves in a variety of community programs, the American Legion has created opportunities for the people of Branford and has encouraged us to see the benefits of our beautiful community. Their dedication to Branford has inspired us to give more of ourselves in order to make our community a better place.
