Mayor Commends East Haven Public Works for Efforts During Storm

Mayor Joseph Maturo, Jr., said that Public Works crews did an exceptional job in snow removal efforts stemming from Winter Storm Stella on March 14.

Maturo said that the town prepared for the worst, and that the town got a little lucky since it did not get as much snow that was predicted. However, he did say removal efforts were challenging due to the hard and icy condition of the snow.

Still, Maturo said that crews did a great job in tough situation, and the town got a number of compliments from residents.

“Taxpayers should be proud of Public Works,” he said.
