03/23/2017 12:01 AMRuby is a two- to three-year-old Lab/hound mix who absolutely loves boy dogs! She loves to romp and play and chase and roll with them. She is great with children and adults, too. She has not met girl dogs at the shelter only because the shelter has not had many. Ruby can’t possible understand why she’s been overlooked at the shelter since October especially since she’s gorgeous and so sweet.
The Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, located at 749 East Main Street, Branford, serves the towns of Branford and North Branford. All of its dogs and cats have a wellness checkup; dogs and cats six months and older are spayed neutered and vaccinated before they are adopted. Cats are also tested for leukemia and AIDS and dogs are heartworm tested and microchipped.
