Academic and Extracurricular Achievements

• Katalina Baehring, a sophomore at Hamden Hall Country Day School, will go to the All-State Music Festival after having qualified for the Honor Choir and Band.

• William Godsey, a robotics engineering major at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project in Venice. The project was titled “Unearthing Patterns in Venetian History.”

• Katrina Green has been granted the Presidential Scholarship to study nursing at Alvernia University in the fall. Green is currently a senior at Guilford High School.

• Katie Hooker will be competing at the 47th Oireachtas Rince na Cruinne, or World Championships, this spring in Dublin. Katie dances for the Broesler School of Irish Dance.

• Kevin Jacobsen was recently recognized at the fall 2016 Outstanding Graduates ceremony at SUNY New Paltz.

• Courtney O’Connor was awarded the Ward Family Scholarship at the University of Findlay for the 2016-’17 academic year.

• John-Nicholas P. Setaro will participate in a St. Lawrence University off-campus study abroad program during the Spring 2017 semester.

• James Sullivan recently starred in The Servant of Two Masters at Western New England University.

• University of New Haven graduates: Kathleen Genera and Rachel Morro.

• Kathleen Wallace graduated cum laude from Ithaca College’s School of Music with a degree in performance.
