State Representative Noreen Kokoruda (R-101), State Senator Ted Kennedy, Jr. (D-12), Helen Keiser-Pedersen, Jane Rapport, Bob Keiser, and Sue Martucci met at the Capitol in Hartford on Jan. 30 in support of a proposal to honor Capt. Andrew M. Pedersen-Keel. The proposal, Senate Bill 258, would seek to recognize and celebrate the life of Captain Andrew Michael Pederson-Keel, who was mortally wounded on March 11, 2013 while serving his county overseas. The proposal was heard at a public hearing in the legislature’s Transportation Committee and awaits further action.
