It’s cold outside, but your insides will be warm as long as you sample the many chili recipes entered in the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce’s Chili Fest on Saturday, March 4. The 21st annual event, taking place from noon to 3 p.m. along the Town’s Main Street, will offer chili tastings from more than 20 chefs.

For the tasters, ballots can be purchased for $10 each at any of the six ballot stations along Main Street as well as at the Chamber of Commerce office at 1 Main Street. Bring your appetites because a valid ballot requires sampling at least 10 chili choices.

The competition will go on in rain, snow or shine. The top three winning chilis will be honored with a donation to the charity of their choice.
