02/08/2017 11:01 PMThe East Haven Rotary Club recently recognized East Haven High School senior Mia D’Amico as ita most recent recipient of the club’s Student of the Month program. The award was the final presentation for the previous school year.
Each month the Rotary recognizes a student from East Haven High School’s junior class. The student is invited to attend a Thursday night dinner meeting at the Twin Pines Diner Restaurant and is presented with a certificate and a check for $100. Winners then become eligible for a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded at the end of their senior year. The club, now in its 78th year, was organized on March 3, 1939.
