General Mills gives the school 10 cents for each “Box Top for Education” coupon collected. At Jerome Harrison, teachers are able to spend that money as they see fit for their classrooms. In the past, teachers have used the money for many items like books, additional classroom supplies, T-shirts, and classroom parties.
Other outreach missions that church members help with include the Food Pantry of North Branford, Neighbors in Need, soda can tab tops to Shriners, manufacturers coupons to a soldier in Germany, scholarship to a high school senior, and the Covenant to Care Adopted Social Worker Program. Additional outreach is done in conjunction with other local churches.
